How a Handwritten Notebook Changed Everything for me

The passion behind Rapsodee stems from a simple, heartfelt discovery I made years ago: a handwritten chronicle detailing the life story of my wife’s grandmother. She had passed away long before I ever had the chance to meet her, but her words—raw, authentic, and brimming with wisdom—bridged time for me.

She wrote about her husband’s first job hauling coal in the 1950s. She shared how they helped neighbors heat their houses in the winter and how finally upgrading to a new pickup truck was the milestone of their lives. That profound experience sparked my vision: to help families like yours preserve these legacies before they slip away.

We call it “Your Story in Your Voice.” Today, Rapsodee is a close-knit collective of my friends, family members, and a few “hired guns” who all believe in the same thing: these videos are essentially a family reunion in digital form. We handle the heavy lifting so you don’t have to deal with the DIY frustration.
